Hello and welcome, I'm a photographer from and based in Co. Waterford, Ireland. My love of photography began more than 30 years ago. This was during the film era when capturing an exposure was only the start of a long process but it intrigued and delighted me when my results were developed. During the 1990s I transitioned to the digital format and this was an exciting time. Gone was the time of waiting days to see a developed exposure.

For many years the main field of my photography was centered around covering motorsport. This included working with motor clubs throughout the country, Motorsport Ireland the governing body of the sport, national and regional newspapers. I’ve also been published in various motorsport magazines i.e. Pacenotes, Carsport, Carsport Annual, Motorsport News, and Rallysport.

On this site, you can see the best of my work. From landscape to seascape the southeast of Ireland offers great opportunities to capture great images. In the gallery section, you will also find cityscapes, events, Astro, and portraits.

In recent years I’ve begun to be intrigued by timelapse photography. Timelapse is a photography technique in which images are captured in sequence and then converted to video. As there’s an interval between each exposure this can condense a long period of time into a short video. I love planning and shooting these, particularly when sunrise and sunset are contained as the results can be spectacular.
